SKIFFER RESTAURANT – Trendy restaurant SKIFFER CHALONG BAY is built to combine dining, great drinks and ultimate comfort into one perfect package. The atmosphere is definitely unique, an eclectic combination of modern design with traditional maritime elements. The house specialty is called a FLATTY, sort of a gourmet pizza with distinctive fillings and a funny oblong shape. All the organic ingredients are carefully chosen from local vendors, fresh from the garden and straight from the fisherman’s daily catch. In addition to the delectable FLATTIES and starters and delicious salads for main courses. In addition, there is a home-made pasta dish that changes every week. During the high season, every Thursday 7:00 pm our chef is making one Scandinavian specialty. Thursday’s surprise dish will be launched at Skiffer website, Facebook page and Newsletter every Wednesday. Our Chef will pick one dish from the local expat community’s favorite menu and it could be Potato Hash, Creamy salmon soup, Mama’s meat balls with mashed potato etc... Come and add your own favorite food into the “Expat Menu”. Next week it might be your favorite dish! As in most of the Chalong area restaurants, the feeling is very laid-back and you are welcome even wearing slippers and shorts. Soft music and a friendly and competent staff guarantee your relaxation. The Ao Chalong sauna is located just behind SKIFFER, so massage and an herbal sauna is a common indulgence before sitting down to an appetizing dinner. |
